Aim of the course.
To get a New York University certificate for attending a short-term advanced education program with 4 week sessions in New York and 2 sessions in Europe, plus a deposit of a written report and oral presentation.
Week sessions in New York are planned from Monday to Friday or from Tuesday to Saturday based on current events: we always try to gather a week session with a special event in NYU such as the Aesthetic week or the Implant Symposium. The European session is a 2 day session.
The program is usually held in 2 or 3 years. Today more than 900 dentists have been attending this program from 26 different countries.
This program is based on a course set up in 1981 by Dr. P. Tardieu, French Program Director, in close relashionship with NYU.
The program is called "Current Concepts in American Dentistry".
Since 2004, Dr. Bettach has been elected French Program Group Leader to help handling these courses for French groups.

Program.
The program is oriented to Periodontics, Implantology and Aesthetics. It is constantly updated and the most prestigious lecturers contributed to the success of this course. It ends with a New York University Certificate of attendance in Implantology & Aesthetics.
Fees
A week sessions in NYU price is $1500. A 2 days session in Europe price is $800.
Written report and clinical cases.
Each student must present a written report and also an oral presentation of 3 documented clinical cases.
- Week 1 or 2 : choice of a subject for the written report out of a list of subjects presented by NYU.
- Week 4 : oral presentation (10 mn) of the written report. It be at least a 15 pages typed report in English or any other language with a one page summary in English. The student must provide a sufficient number of copies for each participant.
- Week 6 : oral presentation (15 mn) of 3 documented clinical cases.
