Hands On Course In Aesthetic Dentistry (Session -II) Two-days course.

Prof. Philippe Tardieu course has been developed based on the success of his first Aesthetic Course launched in 2009. "Current Concept in Aesthetic Dentistry" course has been developed as an answer to professionals' frustration facing aesthetic cases. The course has been set up in three annual two-day sessions. Each session focuses on a particular issue of aesthetics and is updated with the latest publications and findings. No session is fully similar to a previous session already done. Each session includes live TV demo and workshop. And each session is original. One can attend to anyone independently.

SESSION II:BIOLOGY & AESTHETICS (CME 13 Hours)

DAY 1 - September 23, 2010
  • 08:45 - 09:00 Registration
  • 09:00 - 12:15 Correction of the Session 1 questionnaire about biogical space and anatomy of the "col". Anatomical and histological review related to implantology and perio. Relationship in between the teeth and the periodontal structures. What grafting material we should use? Bio-medical integration in everyday practice. PRP versus PRF. Metronidazole use in sinus lifts and grafting procedures. Sinus lift, bone grafting and latest findings on the way to manage sinus lifts.

  • 12:30 - 13:30 Lunch
  • 13:30 - 15:30 Introduction to an implant system oriented to aesthetics, including: internal hex and external hex implants.
  • 15:30 - 16:00 Break
  • 16:00 - 17:30 Hands-on for impression transfer, selection of abutments related to aesthetics.

DAY 2 - September 24, 2010
  • 08:45 - 09:00 Registration
  • 09:00 - 12:15 How to plan implants and grafting tools to achieve the expected results. How to transfer an implant plan to the patient�s mouth? Navigators, stereolitographic surgical guides, laboratory guides. Type of guides and indications. Personal treatment plan and aesthetics case analysis. Questions and answers.
