Biography: Dr. Alan Rosenfeld limits his private practice to cosmetic and reconstructive periodontics and dental implants. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. After graduating from dental school, he completed a general practice residency at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago and received his specialty training in Periodontology at the University of Pennsylvania in 1977. Dr. Rosenfeld is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He is the former director of graduate periodontology at Northwestern University Dental School. His collaboration with Drs. Richard Mecall and George Mandelaris has led to contributions in text books and numerous journal articles. He has lectured nationally and internationally. Dr. Rosenfeld has been using CT technology for the placement of dental implants since 1987. Dr. Rosenfeld is a professor of clinical periodontology at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry where his chief responsibility is teaching implant and periodontal plastic surgery to graduate students. In addition, Dr. Rosenfeld has contributed in the development of SimPlant planner. He serves on the medical advisory board of Materialise, the developer of SimPlant planner and SurgiGuides. Biography:Dr. Scott D. Ganz graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry - New Jersey Dental School. He completed a three-year specialty program in Maxillofacial Prosthetics at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. During this time Dr. Ganz was exposed to many different aspects of head and neck reconstruction, fabricating both intra-oral and extra-oral prostheses such as eyes, ears, noses, etc. This was followed by 20 years clinical experience (both surgical and restorative phases) with most major implant systems available today. Dr. Ganz is well-published in various scientific and professional journals. He has delivered presentations both nationally and internationally on Implant Dentistry and Computer Utilization for Diagnostic, Graphical, and Treatment Planning Applications in Dentistry. He has been a featured speaker for numerous organizations including the Academy of Osseointegration, American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the American College of Prosthodontists, the American College of Oral Implantology, and the American Society of Osseointegration. He is a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, a Fellow of the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics, and an Associate Fellow in the American College of Prosthodontists.Dr. Ganz serves as Chairperson for several committees of various organizations, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Section of the American College of Prosthodontists for which he is a Past-President. He is on the staff of Hackensack University Medical Center, teaching prosthodontics and implant dentistry, is on the faculty of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and past faculty of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Ganz is a member of Sulzer Dental's Peer Practicum Educational Program and is past faculty member of the ExperDent/ICOI Implant Prosthetic Continuum Faculty. He is also on the faculty of many other implant preceptorship programs throughout the country including the University of Texas Health and Science Center in San Antonio, the University of Michigan, the Brookdale / NYU Maxicourse in Implantology, the University of Miami Implant Dentistry Program, and the Universidad Nacional, Federico Villareal, in Lima, Peru. Dr. Ganz's book, "An Illustrated Guide to Understanding Dental Implants" available in both English and Spanish, has received wide acclaim as the standard in patient education texts, and has sold worldwide in over twenty-two countries. Biography: Dr. Elmar Frank graduated 1989 in Dental Surgery and obtained his PhD from the Eberhard-Karls-University in TŸbingen/Germany. He started and currently maintains a general private dental practice in 1991 together with his wife, Dr. Sigrid Frank. Biography: Dr. Philippe B. Tardieu has a doctorate in Dental Surgery of the University Paris VII and a PG in Implantology from the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis. He is Adjunct Associate Professor at the New York University, Division of Reconstructive Comprehensive Care. He is an Expert in Implantology from DGIO. Dr. Tardieu is founder and President of the Institut International d'Etudes Dentaires Avancees. In relationship with New York University College of Dentistry he is the founder of the Course "Current Concept in American Dentistry" that is held continuously since 1981. More that 900 dentists from more than 26 different countries have been educated in this program. Biography: Dr. Dov Kischinovsky is a specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He obtained his doctorate in Dental Medicine from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem in 1976 and a degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1986 following extensive training in advanced oral procedures, orthognathic and reconstructive surgery. He is formerly a lecturer in the academic program for students of oral and maxillofacial surgery and Head of the Oral Surgery Unit at Wolfson Medical Center. Dr. Dov Kischinovsky has an active private practice in oral and maxillofacial surgery with special expertise in 3D CT technology, bone grafting and dental implantology.
